WNC Farm to Table

Mission & Core Values

Our Mission

Transforming WNC’s local food system by putting farmers first and power back into rural communities.

We're rooted in Jackson County, working shoulder-to-shoulder with farmers, families, and partners to create a food system that’s built on trust, not top-down agendas. We connect food, funding, and people to keep land in production and communities fed.

Our Vision

WNC farms thrive. Families eat well. Rural communities rise.

Safeguarding Agricultural Heritage and Culture:

We are committed to preserving the vibrant agricultural heritage and cultural traditions of Western North Carolina.

You cannot save the land apart from the people or the people apart from the land. To save either, you must save both.
